Secondary School SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are working with a fantastic school in the London Borough of Waltham Forest to find a supportive and positive Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for experienced or new Teaching Assistants to work in a Mainstream Secondary School, making a positive impact on the lives of pupils with Autism and Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside an experienced and supportive team to provide individualized support to pupils with additional needs.
  • Contribute to a creative environment that focuses on art and creativity.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Enjoy a great work-life balance due to school hours and holidays.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant in a Secondary School is highly valued, but training will be provided for those with a passion to start their career.
  • Experience working with Autism and other special educational needs is desirable.
  • A friendly and positive outlook, with a resilient personality, is essential.
