About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a lovely Primary School in Walthamstow.

The ideal candidate will be able to establish a warm and supportive relationship with pupils, enabling them to feel safe and enjoy their time at the school.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to enable them to access the curriculum
  • Establish a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to promote their emotional and social well-being
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised learning plans
  • Provide feedback to teachers and other support staff on pupil progress and development
About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with young people with SEN and has a drive to promote and encourage independence and personal development.

You will be approachable and have the needed attributes to engage with SEN students.

You will be required to provide an up-to-date enhanced DBS.
