As a Teaching Assistant for Children with Special Needs, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff in the classroom and helping children with special educational needs to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the teaching staff in the classroom, helping to deliver lessons and manage behaviour.
- Encourage participation and help children to develop their skills.
- Plan and deliver lessons effectively, and assess the progress of the children.
- Liaise with parents and other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
- A degree in Education or Special Education Needs.
- Experience teaching in a mainstream or SEN environment.
- Ability to build relationships with children and parents, and work as part of a team.
