Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Meldreth Manor, a children's home and school that provides education, care, and therapeutic support for children and young people with severe and profound communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional care and support to children and young adults during daily activities, including washing, dressing, socializing, learning, and personal care.
  • Assisting with therapy sessions, such as hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
  • Building strong relationships with children and young adults to empower them to grow and develop.
  • Ensuring a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
  • Helping to develop learning and social skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on a rota pattern, including weekends.
  • Exceptional communication skills and patience.
  • Willingness to learn and go the extra mile.
  • Ability to guide and encourage supportive independence.
  • Resilient and positive nature.
