Job Title: Children and Young Adults Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Meldreth Manor, a children's home and school that provides education, care, and therapeutic support for children and young people with severe and profound communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing exceptional care and support to children and young adults during daily activities such as washing, dressing, socializing, learning, and personal care.
  • Assisting with therapy sessions, including hydrotherapy and rebound therapy.
  • Building strong relationships with children and young adults to empower them to grow and develop.
  • Ensuring a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
  • Helping to develop learning and social skills.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work on a rota pattern, including weekends.
  • Exceptional communication skills and patience.
  • Resilience and a positive nature.
  • Ability to be creative in meeting the needs of children and young adults.
