Job Role: Power System Development Lead

Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly experienced Power System Development Lead to join our team at The Green Recruitment Company. As a key member of our solar energy infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading the development of large-scale solar energy projects, including grid connection aspects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of power system infrastructure for large-scale solar energy projects.
  • Manage relationships with network operators and trade bodies to secure necessary approvals and permits.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project proposals and business cases.
  • Mentor and share knowledge with less experienced team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in power system development with a strong understanding of grid connection procedures.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in renewable energy, engineering, or a related discipline.
