We are seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist to join our Metabolism team at our Huntingdon site.

Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum

Job Description: As a Research Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting various projects related to metabolism, including the determination of crop protection products' fate in the environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop basic laboratory skills to support duties in primary area of work
  • Maintain study documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Set up and perform appropriate analyses in primary area of responsibility based on the study protocol and in conjunction with the study team
  • Maintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment and perform routine maintenance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working towards bachelor's degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry
  • Experience delivering projects in an academic or professional setting
  • Ability to utilise word processing, databases, spreadsheets, and specialised software on personal computers
  • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
  • Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
