About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director to join our Public Sector Defence team at Capgemini Invent. As a Director, you will be responsible for leading our clients across Defence and MOD, driving forward our business and model, and coaching and developing junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand Capgemini's impact across Defence and MOD and its enabling organisations.
  • Help our clients realise their strategic transformation agenda through leading insight and exceptional delivery.
  • Develop deep, trust-based relationships with clients in a sell-deliver-sell-on model.
  • Bring the power of the global Capgemini organisation to drive improved account delivery and client success.
  • Work with the leadership team in the Public Sector to build the team that will continue and build on our success.
What You'll Need
  • Current experience working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry/MOD but having a Consulting background.
  • Experience in delivering successful change in Public Sector Defence/MOD organisations with a maintained network of positive relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • The ability to create a compelling vision for their focus area that will inspire others, both to join the team, but also to gain the trust and backing of the wider Capgemini team.
  • Experience in creating new propositions, translating these into consulting contracts, agreeing them with clients and seeing them through to delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Public Sector trends and issues and a recognised subject matter expert in your focus area(s) for delivery.
  • Business development - utilising a combination of the organisation's broader pre-existing relationships, company relationships and your own network, you'll be generating £2m of consulting revenues.
