About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Director to join our Public Sector Defence team at Capgemini Invent. As a leader in this field, you will be responsible for driving forward our impact across Defence and MOD, and helping our clients realise their strategic transformation agenda through exceptional delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and expand Capgemini's impact across Defence and MOD, building deep, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Lead insight and exceptional delivery to help our clients realise their strategic transformation agenda.
  • Develop and sell new propositions, translating them into consulting contracts and seeing them through to delivery.
  • Bring the power of the global Capgemini organisation to drive improved account delivery and client success.
  • Work with the leadership team in the Public Sector to build the team that will continue and build on our success.

Requirements
  • Current experience working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry/MOD but having a Consulting background.
  • Experience in delivering successful change in Public Sector Defence/MOD organisations with a maintained network of positive relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
  • The ability to create a compelling vision for their focus area that will inspire others, both to join the team, but also to gain the trust and backing of the wider Capgemini team.
  • Experience in creating new propositions, translating these into consulting contracts, agreeing them with clients and seeing them through to delivery.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Public Sector trends and issues and a recognised subject matter expert in your focus area(s) for delivery.
