About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Public Health Engineer to lead our public health design team in Manchester. As a key member of our MEP team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality public health engineering designs across various project sizes and sectors, primarily within the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams to prepare scheme and detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement public health engineering strategies to meet project objectives, including water conservation and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate public health engineering designs with other disciplines, such as fire protection and building services.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including bidding and proposal preparation, to secure new projects and grow the business.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in public health engineering design, preferably within the Ministry of Defence and Healthcare project sectors.
  • Chartered Engineering status (or working towards) and a degree in Building Engineering, Public Health Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Revit software and experience with Navisworks for drawing reviews.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively.
