About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Hospitality Partnerships to join our team at Lightspeed. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of partnership managers who directly manage product partners integrated across our point of sale and online ordering platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a team that oversees all product integration partnerships across our point of sale and online ordering platforms.
  • Identify product partnership opportunities to develop and guide our partner strategy in the Hospitality space across products and geographies.
  • In partnership with the wider Strategy Team, develop and execute against our 'build/buy/partner' framework to accelerate our product roadmaps and build product moats for our Hospitality business.
  • Collaborate across teams to build a compelling app-marketplace and develop self-service partner tools to help accelerate the growth of our app ecosystem partners.
  • Work with potential and existing partners to define desired outcomes, investment, and nurture relationships that lead to long-term opportunities.
  • Develop and negotiate strategic partnership agreements that meet the company's strategic needs while ensuring mutual benefit to both parties.
  • Manage results with partner companies through regular governance processes.
  • Act as a key source of knowledge and subject matter expertise on market/competitive dynamics.

Requirements

  • 10 years working in partnerships in the point of sale, payments, or hospitality SaaS space.
  • Proven results working across legal, product, and commercial teams.
  • Experience in a global SaaS environment, preference for fast-growth and global.
  • Track record of being able to both set or shape strategy, as well as delivering executional plans that have measurable impact on the business.
  • Experience engaging at an executive level both internally with cross-functional groups and externally with partners.
  • Proven record of leading a diverse, high-performing team across geographical regions and experience building high-performing, inclusive teams.
  • Exceptional written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability, while also able to collaborate cross-functionally with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
  • Unquestionable ethics, integrity, and business judgment; you share our values, and work in accordance with those values.
