Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Immunology Scientist to join our Development Team at Revvity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, performing, and interpreting experiments in support of our product development workstream, specifically related to immunology and assay development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct experiments to support product development, with a focus on immunology and assay development.
  • Interpret experimental results and provide recommendations for product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development Manager, scientists, and junior scientists, to ensure successful product development.
  • Supervise the day-to-day workloads of junior scientists within the team.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for immunology and assay development within Revvity projects.
  • Develop and present reports to the development team and wider Revvity family.
  • Ensure that all data, experiments, and reports are created and kept in accordance with Revvity's Quality Management System and regulatory standards.
Requirements
  • PhD Degree or Equivalent in Immunology or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in assay development, specifically in immunological assays.
  • Experience in product development, ideally whole life cycle.
  • Committed laboratory scientist, spending the majority of their working time in a lab environment.
  • Working knowledge of TCR function and applications, as well as new advancements in immunology and immunological diagnostics.
  • Experience with ELISA, ELISPOT, flow cytometry, and other relevant laboratory techniques.
  • Ability to provide a critical assessment of data and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Knowledge of cell activation, cell culture, and immunoassay development.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time and managing their own time effectively.
  • Line management experience and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
