Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Scientist I to join our team at Revvity. As a key member of our Product Development Team, you will be responsible for designing, performing, and interpreting experiments to support our product development workstream.

Key Responsibilities
  • Experiment Design and Execution: Design and execute experiments to support product development, ensuring that experiments are well-organized and equipment is properly managed.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data and generate reports to communicate results to the team and stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including regulatory and quality, to ensure that experiments are conducted in accordance with company standards.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all experiments and data are conducted and recorded in accordance with company quality management systems.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life sciences subject, preferably Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Biology.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a strong background in assay development, molecular diagnostics, and flow cytometry.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Office-based applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
