Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Scientist to join our Vector Process & Development team at Adaptimmune Therapeutics PLC. As a Research Scientist, you will play a key role in the development and qualification of analytical assays used for Lentiviral Vector characterisation and release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting and documenting laboratory work to progress group and company objectives.
  • Participating in group and project meetings and discussions.
  • Routine laboratory maintenance.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences or related discipline.
  • Ability to learn and develop in order to work independently within a reasonable time frame.
  • Theoretical or practical knowledge of some of the following: mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, ELISA, nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, flow cytometry, upstream bioprocessing, downstream bioprocessing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Practical experience of laboratory procedures.
  • Aseptic cell culture experience.
