Senior Research Scientist II

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Scientist II to join our Oncology Research team at Immunocore. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects and collaborating with colleagues to build pharmacology data on new drug formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects and collaborate with colleagues to build pharmacology data on new drug formats.
- Establish drug libraries and screening workflows for investigating drug combinations and their effects on target/disease biology.
- Generate patient stratified in vitro models of disease that accurately model drug target biology.
- Contribute to internal project/programme team meetings and help inform go/no-go decisions.
- Establish and support collaborations with internal and external partners to accelerate oncology research.
- Keep up to date with scientific literature and contribute to peer-reviewed publications and patents.
- Provide technical training and mentorship to support team members.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Deep understanding of immunology and cancer cell biology.
- Significant prior pharmacology experience with therapeutic molecules.
- 3D in vitro modelling experience.
- In vivo pharmacology experience.
Education & Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent in relevant disciplines.
- 5+ years' experience of post-doctoral research.
