Position Overview: This role is integral to the Product Development Team, focusing on the design, execution, and analysis of experiments that support Revvity's product innovation initiatives under the guidance of a line manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage laboratory resources, including equipment time, availability, and workspace, to ensure timely generation of results.
  • Exhibit a degree of independence in experiment preparation, optimizing time management across multiple projects.
  • Maintain accurate records of data, experiments, reports, and laboratory notebooks in accordance with Revvity's standards.
  • Actively participate in project meetings, demonstrating a solid understanding of development projects, including experimental design and project direction.
  • Generate and defend data independently, contributing to the team's collective knowledge.
  • Prepare and present findings to both the development team and the broader Revvity organization.

Specific Deliverables:

  • Conduct experiments as outlined by workstreams, ensuring completion within established timelines.
  • Communicate any potential delays or issues with projects to supervisors promptly.
  • Travel to various sites as necessary to meet project milestones.
  • Prioritize tasks to align with key objectives set by supervisors.
  • Ensure laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Present data during internal meetings as required.
  • Adhere to the Company's Quality Management System and relevant regulatory standards throughout all projects.
  • Ensure that conclusions in experimental reports accurately reflect the data and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Conduct literature reviews to a high standard as needed.
  • Uphold Revvity's core values in all aspects of work.

Candidate Profile:

  • Understanding of the diagnostic and pharmaceutical sectors.
  • Knowledge in assay development or molecular diagnostics.
  • Experience with flow cytometry.
  • Familiarity with Quality System concepts, including GMP and ISO standards.
  • Dedicated laboratory scientist, primarily working in a lab environment.
  • BSc Degree or equivalent in a life sciences discipline, preferably in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or Biology.
  • Experience with T Cell/Antibody technology and ELISPOT.
  • Working knowledge of ELISA and flow cytometry.
  • Proficient in problem-solving and critical data assessment.
  • Experience in cell culture and cell activation.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels.
  • Adaptability to changing project priorities and effective time management.
