Job SummaryWe are seeking an Associate Research Scientist to join our Vector Process and Analytical Development team. The successful candidate will support the development of our Lentiviral Vector manufacturing process and the qualification of analytical assays used for Lentiviral Vector characterisation and release.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting and documenting laboratory work to progress group and company objectives.
- Participating in group and project meetings and discussions.
- Routine laboratory maintenance.
- Undergraduate degree in Life Sciences or a related discipline.
- Ability to learn and develop in order to work independently within a reasonable time frame.
- Theoretical or practical knowledge of some of the following: mammalian cell culture, cell-based assays, ELISA, nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, flow cytometry, upstream bioprocessing, downstream bioprocessing.
- Practical experience of laboratory procedures.
- Aseptic cell culture experience.
