We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Immunology Scientist to join our Development Team at Revvity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, performing, and interpreting experiments in support of our product development workstream, specifically related to immunology and assay development.
Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct experiments to support product development, with a focus on immunology and assay development.
- Interpret experimental results and provide recommendations for product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory and quality, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols to ensure efficient and effective experimentation.
- Supervise and mentor junior scientists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Present scientific data to internal and external stakeholders, including senior management and external collaborators.
- Stay up-to-date with new advancements in immunology and immunological diagnostics, and identify opportunities to apply this knowledge to our product development workstream.
- PhD in Immunology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in assay development, specifically related to T Cell/Antibody technology.
- Experience with ELISA, ELISPOT, flow cytometry, and other immunological assays.
- Strong knowledge of cell activation, cell culture, and immunological diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, and to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Line management experience and ability to supervise and mentor junior scientists.
This is a 90% lab-based role, with occasional travel to internal and external sites as required. The successful candidate will be required to work effectively in a team environment, and to communicate complex scientific data to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
