Job Summary:
This role is an integral part of the Development Team at Revvity, responsible for designing, performing, and interpreting experiments in support of product development workstreams, specifically related to immunology and assay development.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised and under their own direction, suggesting courses of action based on laboratory activities and developing resolution strategies with their line manager.
Key responsibilities include ensuring that experiments are well-organised, managing equipment time, and maintaining laboratory space and equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design of experiments, conduct, and record-keeping, as defined by workstreams, and will ensure that all data, experiments, reports, and lab books are created and kept in the correct manner as expected by Revvity.
Additional responsibilities include training other members of the development department, presenting scientific data to both internal and external audiences, and ensuring that projects are carried out in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System and to the required Regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- PhD Degree or Equivalent in Immunology
- Experience in conducting and running R and D programs for assays and products
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of T cell immunology with significant practical experience in the area
- Fully lab-trained in all aspects of laboratory activities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to adapt to changing project priorities and manage their own time
