Immunocore is a pioneering biotechnology company developing transformative medicines for oncology, infectious diseases, and autoimmune disease. We seek a highly skilled Scientist - Experimental Immunology to join our team.
About the RoleThis is a 9-month fixed-term contract opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in building knowledge around drug targets and validation of ImmTACs of strategic interest to Immunocore. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with colleagues to advance our understanding of drug targets and ImmTAC validation.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest scientific literature and developments in applicable fields.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong fundamentals in immunology and cancer cell biology.
- Experience in testing therapeutic molecules via immunoassay techniques.
- Proficiency in cell culture and in vitro models.
- Experience in Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS).
- Pharma or biotech laboratory experience.
- Some experience in molecular biology and biochemistry.
A PhD or equivalent in Immunology, Molecular Cell Biology, Oncology, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline is required.
