The Operational Excellence Director will be responsible for ensuring high-quality administration services, aligned with best practices and setting the standard for operational excellence.
This individual will play a key role in driving change across operations to consistently enhance service while managing risk effectively. The role will work a hybrid schedule, aligned with our offices in Chichester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor productivity and utilisation trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Analyse NPS themes across processes, propose process changes, and collaborate with the wider team to implement scheme-specific improvements.
- Track rework rates, E&Os, and complaints, addressing issues with the team and feeding national themes back through the internal network.
- Flag potential breaches, ensure timely completion of cyclical and legislative tasks, and work with the team to address trends requiring process changes or training.
- Deliver colleague training, including compliance training, according to the training plans and collaborate with other teams as needed.
- Support Client Directors with performance management, adhering to the Company's procedures.
- Encourage mentorship and continuous development among colleagues, supporting junior Client Directors in their growth into the role.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A proven background in operational delivery within the Pensions Administration industry.
- Experience with resource management and utilisation principles.
- Deep knowledge of pension governance.
- P&L and budget management experience.
- A dedication to achieving outstanding results for clients and members.
- Insight into the challenges faced by employers, trustees, and members.
- Strong leadership skills, able to influence and motivate others effectively.
- Solutions-focused problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Planning and organisational skills, able to work with processes and prioritise effectively.
- Attention to detail and analytical skills.
The estimated annual salary for this position is £80,000-£110,000 depending on location and experience.
