The Operational Excellence Director will be responsible for ensuring high-quality administration services, aligned with best practices and setting the standard for operational excellence.

This individual will play a key role in driving change across operations to consistently enhance service while managing risk effectively. The role will work a hybrid schedule, aligned with our offices in Chichester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor productivity and utilisation trends, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Analyse NPS themes across processes, propose process changes, and collaborate with the wider team to implement scheme-specific improvements.
  • Track rework rates, E&Os, and complaints, addressing issues with the team and feeding national themes back through the internal network.
  • Flag potential breaches, ensure timely completion of cyclical and legislative tasks, and work with the team to address trends requiring process changes or training.
  • Deliver colleague training, including compliance training, according to the training plans and collaborate with other teams as needed.
  • Support Client Directors with performance management, adhering to the Company's procedures.
  • Encourage mentorship and continuous development among colleagues, supporting junior Client Directors in their growth into the role.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven background in operational delivery within the Pensions Administration industry.
  • Experience with resource management and utilisation principles.
  • Deep knowledge of pension governance.
  • P&L and budget management experience.
  • A dedication to achieving outstanding results for clients and members.
  • Insight into the challenges faced by employers, trustees, and members.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to influence and motivate others effectively.
  • Solutions-focused problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • Planning and organisational skills, able to work with processes and prioritise effectively.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is £80,000-£110,000 depending on location and experience.
