Our US Casualty offering to clients is more than insurance solutions and placement. We take a fully consultative and holistic approach to the exposures our clients face, leveraging our specialist US and International Casualty risk knowledge to provide innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiating with insurers to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
- Building strong partnerships with new and existing clients, underwriters, and market contacts.
- Driving the London insurance market to offer better solutions for our US clients and prospects.
- Becoming part of a collaborative team, committed to delivering service to our US Retailers.
- Opportunity to specialize in an ever-growing technology practice such as 'shared economy' insurance solutions.
- Gathering detailed understanding of the client's risk profile, business needs, and exposures to assist in providing advice on coverage, programme pricing, and retention strategy.
- Analysing underwriting information in order to prepare market submissions along with an Account Executive.
- Assisting in preparing and issuing coverage documentation, including wording negotiation.
- Leading Broker revenue negotiations.
- Working with the Account Executive team to ensure all required information is documented.
- Coordinating with the dedicated Claims team in the event of a loss.
Requirements:
- Experience of working on US Casualty business from a Broking, Underwriting, or wider Insurance background.
- Experience of working on business emanating from the US, Latin America, or Canada will be beneficial.
- Previous involvement with running or managing tenders will be helpful.
- Desire to join a dynamic, entrepreneurial team in a growing organisation.
