Clinical Governance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and continuously improving the clinical governance and quality of care for residents across our Care Homes.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
- Reviewing clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
- Developing and implementing practical strategies to address any issues that arise.
- Working closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to drive continuous improvement.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Nurse RN (General) with a current NMC registration. You must also have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care in a care home environment.
You will be a confident clinical mentor, with the ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on your action plans. Your leadership skills, sharp analytical mind, and passion for delivering the best will make a real difference to the residents in our care.
