Clinical Governance Specialist

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Governance Specialist to join our team at Aviva Health UK. As a key member of the Clinical Risk & Governance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare and wellbeing support to our customers.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for providing clinical governance support across the full product lifecycle of Aviva Protection. This will include producing and embedding Protection's clinical risk management framework across Individual and Group Protection and overseeing clinical suppliers.
You will also support Aviva Health in the harmonisation of its digital health propositions, ensuring consideration of applicable healthcare legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Successful execution of this role will help support optimal clinical outcomes for Aviva Health and Aviva Protection customers and protect Aviva from litigation and reputational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Experience of working in a senior clinical/clinical governance role in the NHS or private healthcare sector, or in health or protection insurance, or in a healthcare regulatory role.
- Demonstrable experience in clinical risk identification, management, clinical audit activities, and a customer-focused approach.
- Previous experience with the oversight of healthcare pathways, including digital healthcare, is desirable.
- Evidence of the ability to draft clear and succinct reports on clinical governance matters and present findings to senior leadership and business committees.
- Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
