About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Peripatetic Clinical Development Nurse at Barchester Healthcare. As a key member of our clinical governance team, you will be responsible for leading, supporting, and continuously improving the clinical governance and quality of care for residents across our Care Homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the performance of each home to ensure it meets the highest clinical standards.
  • Review and analyse clinical governance databases and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement practical strategies to address any issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Work closely with Regional Directors, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to drive continuous improvement.
  • Organise training, attract key senior clinical staff, and deliver clinical investigations to drive quality improvement.

About You:

  • You must be a Registered Nurse RN (General) with a current NMC registration.
  • You should have a strong understanding of current regulatory requirements and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • You will have experience working in a care home environment and be a confident clinical mentor.
  • You should have excellent leadership skills, a sharp analytical mind, and the ability to share knowledge, build relationships, and deliver on action plans.
