Support and Guidance Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Support and Guidance Coordinator to join Destination Education. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and inclusive school environment, where you will play a vital part in promoting the learning and development of pupils.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a positive and supportive relationship with pupils, enabling them to feel safe and confident in their abilities. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support and promote independence, personal development, and spiritual well-being.

About You:
  • You will have experience working with SEN students and a strong understanding of how to engage and support them.
  • You will hold an up-to-date enhanced DBS and be able to provide references.
  • You will be approachable, empathetic, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting pupils in their learning and development.
  2. Providing individualized support to meet the needs of each pupil.
  3. Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Salary:

£25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
