Business Operations Assistant:

We are seeking a skilled Business Operations Assistant to join our team at Nomura Holdings, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive assistant to utilize their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the CEO, including preparing correspondence, reports, and presentations. Additionally, they will complete data processing needs, assist with documentary and data management, and provide executive support for shareholder and board meetings. They will also make travel arrangements, liaise with service providers, and assist with ad hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, reports, and presentations.
  • Complete all data processing needs of the CEO, including agreements, instruments, policies, and documents.
  • Assist with documentary and data management, adhering to Nomura policies and applicable law.
  • Organize and provide knowledgeable executive support for shareholder and board meetings for all Nomura entities in Bermuda.
  • Make all travel arrangements, including liaising with other Nomura entities and arranging meeting schedules.
  • Liaise with internal and external service providers, including counsel, compliance, risk management, and corporate service providers.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as required by the Company.

Requirements:
  • From a legal or financial services executive assistant background.
  • Exemplary planning and time management skills.
  • Excellent communicator, able to liaise confidentially with Nomura and external service providers.
  • Proficient with PC software applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
