Senior Social Care Professional

Lancashire County Council is seeking a dedicated Senior Social Care Professional to join our Adult Mental Health Social Care Team. As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting complex assessments, commissioning care, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve best outcomes for adults experiencing mental health difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have a CURRENT AMHP qualification or be willing to work towards becoming an AMHP. You will also assist the Team Manager with complaint handling, supervision, and professional development, and support the delivery of Best Practice sessions to promote continued development within the team.
We offer a competitive salary of £38,223 - £43,421 per annum, up to 32 days annual leave, and 8 bank holidays, as well as flexible working opportunities and a generous Local Government Pension Scheme with employer contribution.
