We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Director to lead our construction projects in Chelmsford, UK. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure timely completion and quality results.

About the Role:

  • Direct and manage site operations, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Lead a team of subcontractors and site staff to achieve project objectives.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Develop and implement effective project plans and schedules.
  • Monitor and control costs, ensuring they stay within budget.
  • Identify and address issues on-site, implementing solutions promptly.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to project specifications.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Site Director in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
  • Relevant qualifications in construction management or related fields.
  • CSCS card and SMSTS certificate are preferred.
