Job Title: Head of Quality Assurance and Improvement
Job Summary:
Hopwood Hall College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Quality Assurance and Improvement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the college's quality assurance and improvement processes, ensuring that they are aligned with the college's strategic objectives and meet the requirements of external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the college's quality assurance and improvement processes, ensuring that they are aligned with the college's strategic objectives and meet the requirements of external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement a quality assurance and improvement framework that ensures the college meets the requirements of external stakeholders, including Ofsted and the Office for Students.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the college's quality assurance and improvement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Lead and manage a team of quality assurance and improvement professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to carry out their roles effectively.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including Ofsted and the Office for Students, to ensure that the college meets their requirements and expectations.
- Contribute to the development of the college's strategic plan, ensuring that quality assurance and improvement are integrated into the college's overall strategy.
Requirements:
- Degree or level 4 qualification in a relevant field.
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Recognised Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualification.
- Experience of working in a quality assurance and improvement role in a further education setting.
- Experience of leading and managing a team of quality assurance and improvement professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience of working with Ofsted and the Office for Students.
- Experience of developing and implementing quality assurance and improvement frameworks.
- Experience of leading and managing quality assurance and improvement teams.
