Senior Care Operations Manager

About the Role
Avery Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to lead our team at our care home. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents.
- Ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care, person-centred care, and residents receive care based on best practice.
- Be responsible for the ongoing recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.
- Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives, and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in residents' wellbeing.
- Ensure safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in accordance with both occupancy and dependency.
- Provide on-going inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.
- Ensure costs are well managed and maintained within budgetary controls, by reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.
About You

Our ideal candidate must:
- Have a minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.
- Have Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.
- Possess excellent leadership and management skills.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and be competent in IT.
- Be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
