About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Safety Case Discipline Lead to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our nuclear team, you will be responsible for leading the development of nuclear safety cases and providing strategic advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Nuclear Safety Case Strategies: Develop and implement effective nuclear safety case strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Lead Nuclear Safety Case Teams: Lead and manage nuclear safety case teams to deliver high-quality safety cases that meet client expectations.
  • Provide Strategic Advice: Provide strategic advice to clients on nuclear safety case development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and regulatory affairs, to ensure effective nuclear safety case development and implementation.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices to ensure that nuclear safety cases are developed and implemented in accordance with the latest standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience in developing and implementing nuclear safety cases in the civil nuclear sector.
  • Leadership: Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to lead and manage nuclear safety case teams.
  • Project Delivery: A track record of successful project delivery, including overseeing the full project cycle end-to-end.
  • Communication: Competence in preparing and delivering technical presentations and conducting peer reviews of technical documents.
