Transformative Manufacturing Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Manager to join our team at Shorterm Group in Gloucester. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of manufacturing and assembly operators and supervisors in a major transformation project.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in CNC machining and/or welding/fabrication, with experience in manufacturing and assembly lines. You will be responsible for maximizing up-time availability, optimizing production processes, and implementing automation solutions.

We are looking for a candidate who can help us revolutionize our product pipeline by deploying automated super hubs, designing and developing AGV solutions, and re-imagining our existing logistics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of manufacturing and assembly operators and supervisors
  • Maximize up-time availability and optimize production processes
  • Implement automation solutions and deploy automated super hubs
  • Design and develop AGV solutions
  • Re-imagine existing logistics systems

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable background in CNC machining and/or welding/fabrication
  • Experience in manufacturing and assembly lines
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
