Manufacturing Manager Opportunity

Shorterm Group is partnering with a leading logistics and supply chain company to recruit a Manufacturing Manager with a strong technical background in welding/fabrication or CNC machining to be based out of our Gloucester facility.

This is a key role that influences the entire project roadmap, and we're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with strong credentials. The successful candidate will have:

  • A demonstrable background in CNC machining and/or welding/fabrication, with experience in manufacturing and assembly lines, maximising uptime availability and optimising flow.
  • Proven track record of bringing tangible performance improvements through creating plans, introducing/managing process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience across the full spectrum of Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People and the Environment.
  • A passion for developing people and driving change, with the ability to effectively implement strategy and ideas while building a culture of can-do.
  • People management skills are an absolute priority, and getting the best out of your team in a positive way should be the cornerstone of how you operate.
