Job Description

Role: Design and Technology Teacher - St Albans (Independent School)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Design and Technology teacher to join our team at a prestigious independent school in St Albans. As a Design and Technology teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Design and Technology to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Develop and deliver engaging, hands-on lessons and projects
  • Audit, track, and report student progress
  • Contribute to the DT curriculum and department initiatives
  • Foster a positive and inspiring classroom environment
  • Participate in extracurricular and enrichment activities related to DT

Requirements:

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Degree in Design and Technology or a related subject
  • Experience in an independent school setting is advantageous
