Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join our client school in St.Albans. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging maths lessons to students, creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, and assessing and providing constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Maths curriculum.
  • Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and associated resources.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school.
  • Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons to students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students.

Requirements:

  • QTS Status and enhanced up-to-date DBS.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a maths-related field.
  • Teaching experience in mainstream Maths at secondary level.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
