The Career Services Skills Instructor role is crucial in our Day Program Career Services Department, enabling individuals with developmental disabilities to acquire essential work skills and secure employment opportunities.
Salary Estimate: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum (dependent on location)
- Directly support and assist individuals in attaining community employment by teaching them specific skills both within the organization and in the community, and establishing connections with local businesses.
- Participate in and develop community-based initiatives.
- Offer customized care and support tailored to individual requirements, aiding them in progressing toward their objectives.
- A high school diploma is mandatory (a BA degree in Human Services or a related field is desirable).
- A minimum of one year of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
- A genuine passion for supporting our people is indispensable.
- A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record are needed.
- You must pass company background and reference checks.
