Job Title: Operational Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Planning Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning and allocating staff to deliver our programme schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive staff forecast and plan based on the programme schedule and business needs.
  2. Support the Director of Operations with capacity planning requirements based on forecasting data and operational planning schedules.
  3. Allocate staff to the programme schedule, taking into account their availability, skills, preferences and development opportunities.
  4. Communicate the staff plan and any changes to relevant stakeholders, and resolve any conflicts or issues.
  5. Track and analyse staff utilisation and provide regular reports and feedback to management and staff.

Requirements:

  • At least three years of experience in operational planning, staff scheduling, resource management or a similar role, preferably in the higher education industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and the ability to work with data and complex information.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
