About the Role:

The Employee Relations Advisor will provide specialist HR advice and guidance to managers and employees, encompassing topics such as absence management, welfare, and OH referrals, as well as AWOL, Performance, Disciplinary, and Grievance Appeals, Flexible Working, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating proactive approaches to absence management for a smooth return to work.
  • Raising awareness of risk assessments, including maternity, DSE, stress, and other health-related areas.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely recording of ER cases on the case management system.
  • Acting as the initial point of escalation from ER Assistants.

Requirements:

  • Team player with ER Advisory experience and a good working knowledge of theory, legislation, and best practice.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Desirable qualifications include CIPD and shared service centre experience.
