Correctional Services Officer

As a Correctional Services Officer with the Ministry of Justice, you'll play a vital role in helping to keep the public safe. You'll work with individuals who are on probation or have been released from prison, providing them with support and guidance to help them turn their lives around.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity that requires empathy, patience, and resilience. You'll be responsible for assessing and managing risks, providing information to courts, and working closely with agencies throughout the justice system.
You'll also be involved in supporting offenders, helping them to access employment and housing opportunities, and providing them with practical advice and guidance.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll need to have high level numeracy and literacy skills, as well as the ability to write reports and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders. You'll also need to have experience of working with people who have social or personal difficulties.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and has the skills and qualities required to excel in this role.
Estimated salary: £26,475 - £31,650 per annum.
