Compassionate Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Compassionate Care Specialist to join our team at HomeCareDirect.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care and support to a client with complex needs. As a Compassionate Care Specialist, you will be employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of the client and will work in their home, providing essential care and support.
The role requires you to work independently, using your skills and experience to maintain an aseptic environment, undertake light domestic duties, and support the client with their daily needs.
About the ClientOur client is a gentleman who requires full-time support due to his complex care and medical needs following an accident. He is easy-going, has a sense of humour, and has full capacity.
As a Compassionate Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring he lives a healthy and happy life, while also maintaining his dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an aseptic environment and undertake light domestic duties
- Provide essential care and support to the client, including assistance with daily living tasks
- Work independently, using your skills and experience to make decisions and take action as needed
- Communicate effectively with the client, family members, and other healthcare professionals
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior experience in complex care, preferably working with clients with similar needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without direct supervision
- Commitment to long-term person-centred care
