We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pastoral Leader to join our team at PSM Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our students, ensuring their well-being and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

\

This role involves supervising students during working hours, promoting personal cleanliness and appearance, completing house duties (cleaning/laundry), and maintaining punctuality for all school commitments. Providing individual attention and support to students according to their needs and circumstances is crucial.

\

The post holder must administer medication complying with School procedures and provide basic First Aid treatment when necessary. They will also requisition repairs or replacements through Facilities Management regarding light bulbs, broken furniture, fire doors, windows, etc.

\

As part of this role, you will be required to accompany students to meals, supervise them, and assist with academic, behaviour, and general progress by liaising with teaching staff and informing the House Parent.

\

The successful candidate will be expected to work additional shifts for absent colleagues, subject to consultation with HR. The post holder will also be required to assist the School and House Parent in organising and running social, sporting, or other House activities for students in the House.

\

A starting salary of £17,660 pa including holiday pay based on 40 weeks of the year is offered. The role requires a range of skills, including good communication, interpersonal, organisational, ICT, and listening skills. Previous experience working with students in a professional setting is essential, along with a good basic level of education up to GCSE/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
