Education Support Worker

We are seeking an Education Support Worker to join our team at PSM Recruitment Ltd. As an Education Support Worker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a House, providing support to students and staff.
Main Responsibilities:- Liaising with the Housemaster/Mistress to ensure they are briefed on events and developments during the day.
- Ensuring the personal cleanliness, completion of House duties, and punctuality of students during working hours.
- Accompanying students to meals and supervising them as required.
- Supporting the Tutor and House Parent with the academic, behaviour, and general progress of students in the House.
- Administering medication and providing basic First Aid treatment as necessary.
- Monitoring the fabric of the House and requisitioning repairs or replacements as needed.
- Participating in social, sporting, or other House activities for students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and ICT skills for recording and monitoring students.
- Ability to support young people when required.
- A good basic level of education up to GCSE/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- NVQ or BSA qualifications in relation to working with students are desirable.
£18,440-£20,760 per annum, based on location and experience.
