We are seeking a highly skilled Conference & Events Manager to join our vibrant team at a stunning central London hotel. Our 312-bedroom property boasts an impressive 17 meeting rooms, including the iconic Shaw Theatre.

This exciting role will see you assist our Meetings & Events department in achieving maximum revenue and client relationships through effective sales techniques and strategies, providing exceptional customer service at all times.

You will be responsible for planning and executing meetings, events, and conferences for up to 446 guests from start to finish, working closely with clients, agents, and team members to ensure seamless coordination and delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responding to enquiries from agents/clients within time limits and in a professional manner
  • Implementing efficient yield management in line with guidelines
  • Promoting special offers where appropriate and maximizing each sales opportunity
  • Preparing contracts and ensuring maximum conversion of all business taken in the diary
  • Chasing business and adhering to departmental guidelines
  • Conducting showrounds for existing bookings and new clients
  • Sending detailed event orders in advance of events
  • Greeting clients on arrival and maintaining a presence throughout the event
  • Resolving client disputes and complaints in a professional manner
  • Maintaining strong market awareness through competitor site inspections
  • Achieving individual weekly targets

Salary: £34,983 per annum (£17.25 per hour)
