Care and Support Specialist

We are seeking experienced Complex Care Assistants to provide high-quality care and support for children, young people, and adults with complex health needs in a safe and effective manner.
The estimated salary for this role is £14.00 per hour, equivalent to an average daily rate of £168 for 12-hour shifts, plus holiday pay and pension contributions.
About the Role:- Assist clients with personal care tasks, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Support clients in maintaining their daily routines and adhering to their care plans, promoting independence and autonomy.
- Administer medication (orally or via PEG) while maintaining accurate records, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients, taking into account any dietary requirements or restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members regarding any changes in client condition or needs, ensuring a collaborative approach to care.
- At least 1 year of experience in Complex Care in the UK required, with a strong understanding of care plans and their implementation.
- A commitment to providing high-quality, safe, and effective care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of Safeguarding principles and protocols, with knowledge of digital care planning systems.
- A driving license and access to own vehicle essential, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
