Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in our team of educators in South Gloucestershire.

About the Job:

This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with teachers to deliver tailored support to students with diverse needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individualized support to students with complex needs.
  • Assist teachers in developing lesson plans that cater to each student's requirements.
  • Support classroom activities to ensure a safe and engaging learning space.
  • Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant.
  • A genuine passion for supporting SEN students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach.
  • Flexible working schedule.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this role is £29,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
