Job Summary:

Swift Temps (North West) is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the maintenance activities of our client base in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations, ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and systems are maintained to meet production, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Coordinate and supervise the repair and maintenance of all production machinery, equipment, and infrastructure within the facility.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
  • Manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in maintenance management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
