About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Three Valleys Hospital in Keighley. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the services facilities are safe and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for our service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and facilities to ensure they are safe and functional.
  • Conduct regular checks and audits to identify and report any faults or defects.
  • Liaise with contractors and managers to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Participate in a 1-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance and respond to urgent requests.
  • Support the upkeep of the service, including gardening and decorating tasks.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role.
  • Good DIY skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Compliance with health and safety procedures and protocols.
