About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a SEMh Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting. As a key member of the education team, you will provide vital support to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ensuring they receive the necessary attention and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing dedicated support to children with SEMH needs, including leading small group activities and assisting in 1:1 sessions.
  • Collaborating with the schools SEN team to monitor and support student progress.
  • Encouraging and inspiring students to reach their full potential through targeted learning strategies.
  • Assisting in classroom management and creating a positive learning environment.

Requirements: To qualify for this role, you must have a degree from a top UK University, previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting. A genuine interest in SEMH and special educational needs is also essential.
