Drug Related Deaths Prevention Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Drug Related Deaths Research and Prevention Co-ordinator. This role will play a crucial part in our Public Health Institute's efforts to monitor and prevent drug-related deaths in Knowsley, Sefton, and St Helens.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and chair regular review sessions for non-fatal overdoses and drug-related deaths
- Liaise with relevant organizations and personnel to ensure participation in review sessions
- Develop systems for monitoring non-fatal overdoses and produce regular reports
- Investigate potential additional data sources to enhance understanding of drug-related deaths
- Analyze learning within the context of public health and health inequalities frameworks
- Take a leading role in feeding local experience and learning to national networks and monitoring processes
- Support the DARD review process to identify factors contributing to people leaving drug and alcohol treatment
